東北大震災避難者の方々への英会話レッスン

The Tohoku disaster of March 11, 2011 caused unbelievable amounts of pain, grief, and suffering.  It numbs the mind just thinking about it.  Like many others, my family has made several donations of food, supplies and money to the Tohoku people and area.

Now, I hope I can help as a teacher. ２０１１年３月１１日に起きた東北大震災は信じ難い苦痛と深い悲しみ、そして苦難をもたらしました。考えるだけで心が麻痺してしまいそうです。他の多くの人たちがそうしたように、私の家族も食べ物や生活用品を東北の人々へ送り、募金をしました。そして今、私は教師として出来ることがあると期待しています。 Today, I would like to share some news with you about a volunteer group that I am very happy to support and be a part of.  It’s called After School Lessons for Tohoku Children.  Our school is listed on After School Lessons for Tohoku Children’s contact list as a school willing to give discounted lessons to anyone displaced by this terrible tragedy.  Kevin’s English House will provide 100% free classes to anybody displaced by the Tohoku tragedy.  If you know anyone who was displaced as a result of this tragedy, please refer them to the After School Lessons for Tohoku Children, or 高松市英会話　ケビンズイングリッシュハウス, if they live in Kagawa.

今回、私はその一部分となり、また支援するのを嬉しく思っている一つのボランティア団体について皆さんと内容を共有したいと思っています。「東北の子供たちのための放課後レッスン」After School Lessons for Tohoku Childrenという団体です。私の教室は、この大震災により住居を別の場所へ変えなければならなくなった子供を対象に授業料の割引を行う学校として「東北の子供たちのための放課後レッスンリスト」After School Lessons for Tohoku Children’s contact listに記載されています。ケビンズ イングリッシュ ハウスでは東北大震災のために住居を香川県へ移された方のお月謝を無料にします。周りに東北大震災のために香川へ住居を移されているかたがおられましたら、どうぞこの「東北の子供たちのための放課後レッスン」について教えてさしあげるか、または高松市英会話　ケビンズイングリッシュハウスへお問い合わせください。

 The triple disaster of March 11^th, the 9.0 magnitude earthquake, 10-meter tsunami and the continuing Fukushima nuclear crisis has undoubtedly left a permanent mark on the   Japanese memory and impacted the global community. After School Lessons For Tohoku Children is dedicated to finding assistance to fulfill the educational needs of affected children whose families were victimized by these tragedies.  We give support in the following ways:

• Providing a listing of schools and organizations throughout      Japan willing to give tuition discounts for dislocated children.
• Connecting affected junior high and high school students with      volunteer English instructors who provide free English lessons using      Skype.
• Finding affordable books and school materials.

■ 影響を受けた中学・高校生へスカイプを使用して無料レッスンを提供する英会話講師を紹介すること。
