\n<\/a>A while back, I wrote a blog \u00a0congratulating Haruka on being a finalist in the national speech contest<\/a>. \u00a0As I wrote, she has been studying with me for a long time, so I thought it would be interesting to mention three of the students who used to study with her in the same kids class and are still studying with me today. \u00a0As a special treat, I have included some pictures from one of their earliest English conversation classes together. \u00a0They were playing Uno while practicing English pronunciation of numbers and colors. \u00a0It is a great game for pronunciation. As the kids play the card, they must say the color and the number. \u00a0This gives me a chance to test and correct them one on one. \u00a0Don’t let your kids find out, though. \u00a0They think they are just playing a game in English. \u00a0I am glad that I took those pictures that day because it is cool to see them as kids and now as high school students. \u00a0I have enjoyed teaching you for all of these years and watching you grow into wonderful teenagers. \u00a0Well, before I get too sentimental, here are the students.<\/p>\n
